Cuckoo Pint?

Description:

Found these red-berried seed heads looking a bit like Cuckoo Pint growing amongst grasses in the sand dunes but no sign of the normal Cuckoo Pint leaves. Would Cuckoo Pint grow in this habitat? They are very common in the woodland trails here.

Habitat:

Sand dunes.
