Kumquat Tree

Citrus japonica

Description:

Small Kumquat tree with fruit on it. There's a story behind these photos. My brother has a peach tree in his back yard that was loaded with peaches. A couple of weeks ago deer visited the back yard and ate every peach on the tree. Hence the small fence around the kumquat tree, to keep the deer away. The shiny pie pan is there to reflect light at night and to make noise when the wind is blowing when banging against the pole it is tied to, to discourage the deer from eating the fruit on this plant. .

Habitat:

Back yard area - garden
