Ptarmigan alongside a road perched on a fence

Habitat:

Northern Environments such as northern forests, cities, etc.

Notes:

These ptarmigan were found in the city of Yellowknife sitting in a row on a fence alongside the road. I have encountered many groups of ptarmigan like this around town. They are very stupid birds!

In Yellowknife NT this is a normal to small group of ptarmigan

Wow, that's a lot of ptarmigan. I've only seen a ptarmigan once, in Denali NP, Alaska.
