Western Toad(lets)

Description:

Western toads, part of huge population explosion this past summer, when est. 2 millions toadlets emerged during a week at Anderson Lake in Chimacum, WA.

Habitat:

PNW lake surrounded by boggy coniferous forest, coastal SE Olympic Peninsula, WA.

Notes:

Hard to watch these guys withough stepping on them, as they were everywhere! This was an unprecedented event in our area, at Anderson Lake.
