Description:

An average-sized male with the typical short beak and neck patterns of black and white. The red spot on the back of the head indicated that he was a male.

Habitat:

Mixed deciduous forest with come coniferous trees as well. Very cold and snowy.

Notes:

This guy was enjoying eating suet from our feeder.
