Blue Death Feigning Beetle

Asbolus verrucosus

Description:

Forgive the blurry pic I'm not sure what was wrong with my camera. These are some blue death feigning beetles at the Tulsa Zoo. Very neat animals. Given the name, they play dead a lot.

Habitat:

Southwestern United States.
