I can tell you several it is NOT; did it have 3 or 5 needles per bunch? I'm thinking this might be a Mexican pinon or something. It's not knobcone or Jeffrey's or gray pine.It seems too robust for a lodgepole pine.
I was wondering what kind of pine tree this cone might be from.
I think it is Pine Cone grown on the Pine Tree. Carries Pine Seeds.
