Description:

Thickly grouped plants. Light green leaves, some with a pinkish coloration, pink stems. Light purple flowers grow along the stem in groups. Native plant to the eastern half of North America.

Habitat:

These plants were growing thickly on the shore of a freshwater lake. Pocahontas State Park, Virginia.
