A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
have seen purple, pink, blue & white versions of this fun little flower.
I planted some this year - so far I have leaves and no flowers, but I love this family of flowering plants
It used to be classified in the genus Eupatorium (along with plants like boneset), but it's been moved to Conoclinium since then. A very pretty plant, it grows well in moist soils, and is useful for habitat restoration. Thank you...is the common name 'mist flower'? I had to look on google for it.
