Description:

A medium-sized kingfisher belonging to the subfamily Halcyoninae, the tree kingfishers. It is also known as the white-collared kingfisher, black-masked kingfisher or mangrove kingfisher.

Habitat:

On fence visiting (looking for a live meal as per)

Notes:

I got a new Nikon P-900 camera (totally auto for idjuts like me) from my children & a mate took it for a trial-run & got this beautiful creature from his porch
