A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Excoecaria cochinchinensis
Top or dorsal surface is green, ventral or undersurface is bright red.
Growing wild by the side of a waste water channel that I pass twice a day. Stopped right alongside this plant because of a traffic signal and photographed it through the window glass.
I am quite surprised that what appears to be a garden plant is growing wild, without any one caring for it by the side of a waste water channel.
Thank you, Jonathan Hiew...how nice to have an ID so quickly. Thanks again.
