Hello, 21rjones. Allisonwhite is correct! This is a hawk (Buteo sp.).
Someone can help you identify the species if you update its location on the map. Right now, the map shows that you've spotted the hawk somewhere in the ocean off the eastern coast of Greenland. :-)
