Orange Jewelweed

Impatiens capensis

Description:

Orange and yellow flower with darker orange spots throughout. Entire plant was about 3' tall, with ovate hairless leaves. Flowers were clustered in groups of 2-3 flowers.

Habitat:

This plant was found growing along a lake path in northern Georgia.

Found at Fort Mountain State Park
