I have seen these multiple times in Pittsburgh! Glad to know they are only related to the spider- difference being they only have one body segment and NO VENUM because they are disturbing with their extremely long legs that allow them to move about quickly ad "bounce up" a bit, not quite jumps, as well as the fact that they sometimes are in swarms with dozens of each other hopping around with creepy orange red bodies and black legs. Ew. I have seen them in swarms in wooded isolated areas, as well as in small groups and alone in the city of Pittsburgh, carrick, beechview. Always creeped out but happy to hear they are creepy but harmless!
