A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Rhinoceros unicornis
fourth largest land animal, single horn 20 -57cm (8 - 22") long
grasslands and forest, northeast India and Nepal
I spotted this while on elephant back in Kaziranga national park. The mother was with young and gave us a few false charges when our elephants got too close. We quickly backed off and gave her room.
