Sphinx Caterpillar

Large hairless caterpillar? Crawled out of a garden tomato plant. White stripes on its side and single dark 'eye' spot on one end. As large as a man's finger.

Garden. Tomato plant. Summer.

Doesn't like being on it's back.

Thanks Christine Y. I followed your advice and changed the category to arthropod.

Nice spotting. Since it's an insect, you can change the category to "arthropods".
