Orange with black on the tips and characteristic black spots on the under wing. An accent of white splotches on the wings and on the rims.
Open woodlands, among plentiful flowers.
This butterfly was on a bamboo shoot. The wind was moving it around like a weather vane. I may have two Plain Tigers in my spottings. Oops.
