A lemon tree which has had some orange tree cuttings grafted on to it. This is the first time it has flowered so we are waiting to see what we get! It has 3 different types of leaf so...

OK, point taken, but we can still call it Jose's tree, then amplify that when we see what it produces. It's definitely not a Meyer Lemon though.
Well, technically it isn't a new species. Each grafted piece remains its own, original, unique species. So if it's a lemon tree with 6 different graftings, it's simply 7 species all growing together. The characteristics of each will not intermix; they'll remain quite segregated.
This was an ordinary Lemon tree which had about half a dozen graftings from different orange trees. It was done by our late neighbour a couple of years ago. It will thus be effectively a new species so perhaps we should name it after him!
Is the product known as Meyer Lemons?
We have a Meyer Lemon tree and we get a magnificent yield. The lemons are oranges in colour,and almost the size of an orange and tart and juicy.
