The contrast between the light blue and tropical green makes a fantastic photo!
HemantKumar: Thanks for the link. The Male Common Blue from northern Norway is very close to what i have posted.
haha....yea, looks like there are some varieties of Holly Blues... :) thx for the links

regards :)
Hm...it's closer regarding the color, but not to other aspects ;)
e.g. the species that is shown in the link is pretty furry - while Ramzan's species is not (and as mine is not so much, too).
The link-picture also shows wings with a minimum of black tips - while Ramzan's shows large parts of dark (purple) and mine is showing gray/black tips...
(although the link-picture is of a stunning detail...did you take this one, Hemant?)
ur most welcome i thin u'll like this link

:)
HemantKumar : Many thanks ... in term of color, this is closer to mine compared with LarsKorb :)
Yes, couldn't agree more :) I think that the main reason we are here .... Thanks again
LarsKorb: Just checked at yours ... so for sure its different thing. I'll still check my original photo. Many thanks for highlighting this ... soooo interesting my friend :)
maybe there are just some varieties of this species...as I said - no offend meant.
I just took your picture for the intension to send the tip to not enhance colors for everyone here - just in order to keep identifying not more difficult than it is already ;)....because i can imagine much rarer species that are not that easy to identify (like the blue holly), even if the color appears unusual...
LarsKorb: Understand your sincere intention and i'm ok with that. I took the photo of this beautiful creature about a year ago if my memory serve me well, the color is genuine. But i'll recheck the the original photo and reconfirm the color. But as far as i can remember, i didn't change anything. Will let you know friend :)
well... :) it's not meant offensive...unreal colors just make it hard to identify.
and if yourpicture shows the original colors...than my picture shows probably the most frustrated Holly Blue on this planet ;)
compare our pictures (mine is very close to the colors how they appeared in reality): http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/602...
HemantKumar, GinaCatindoy, SarahHiteWhitt, Janice & NayNay: Many thanks for the lovely comments. Truly appreciated!
LarsKorb: Thanks for the comment. But i did not manipulate anything except for brightness and sharpness. The color of the edges of the wings are genuinely purple. But still i stand to be corrected :)
please...you should not overkill the colors and contrasts with the pictures, friends.
makes it much harder to identify unknown spottings.
this one for example has a much, much paler blue wings than the shot suggests.
and the edges of the wings are not purple but gray/black...
