Daddy Longlegs

Opiliones

Description:

These arachnids are known for their exceptionally long walking legs, compared to body size, although there are also short-legged species.

Habitat:

monsoon forest

Notes:

These Daddly longlegs totally covered some bushes in Annamalai Wildlife Sanctuary. At first they were hard to notice, but once you did, you could see they were everywhere! I've never seen so many in one place.
