Spotting

Description:

grows quickly out of the ground, like a weed. is hollow on the inside of the stalk. will grow taller than my garage if left alone. huge, woodlike roots.

Habitat:

Wisconsin, grows in spring and summer.

Notes:

if not cut down, it turns wooden over the winter, then turns green again in the spring and keeps growing.
