I found these lovely yellow wild flowers all up and down both sides of our road and loved them but we don't know what kind of flowers they are I would like to know what kind of flower they are

are the leaves kind of lacy and thin? That would be Bidens sp.
But there are a lot of similar flowers! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asteraceae...

I just looked at a picture of a lanceleaf coreopsis and that is not it. I might be able to add on a picture of its leaves later

do you have a picture of the leaf. It's either a member of the Bidens family or quite likely the one in the ID suggestion
