Mustang

Equus ferus caballus

Description:

This is "Journey". We adopted him from the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) in 2002. He lived in an open range herd in Wyoming; and was captured for adoption at the age of three. We had him professionally trained to trail ride. Very nice horse - but has increased "flight mode" probably due to his breeding. Extreme independent compared to domestic bred horses.

Habitat:

on our farm in Southeastern Ohio.

Nice looking boy. I adopted a BLM burro once. An extremely bright girl - had me fully trained in about two weeks.
