This is one of the craneflies. See http://bugguide.net/node/view/183/bgimag... for more information. They look like giant mosquitoes don't they? But, believe me, as I live and breathe in Minnesota, mosquito capital of North America, I'm glad they don't get as big as craneflies...grin.
