Masked titi monkey

Callicebus personatus

Description:

light brown thick fur, black fur around face

Habitat:

transition zone between cerrado and atlantic coast rainforest

Notes:

I was very lucky to spot a few masked titi monkeys at Parque do Caraca. Their thick fur is to see them through the cold winter nights.

It's natural range is quite small. I think I was really lucky to see it.
