Not Lycidae, but something related. This is a member of Ototretinae, a subfamily of "primitive" fireflies (Lampyridae), that have no light organs. Their placement as lampyrids has only recently been confirmed, based on DNA. Before that, they were often treated as members of another family, Drilidae. These beetles are very poorly known, often only from a few old museum specimens. Sri Lanka and southern India seems to be a diversity hotspot for them.
