Description:

This shrub has orange blooms that are long and open with curls. The stamen is outside the blooms beckoning visitors. At the base of the bloom are yellow cupped sepals.

Habitat:

Central Plateau. Open sunny location.

Notes:

I've walked by this plant numerous times and finally decided to take a picture.
