Tuber Jerusamen Sage

Phlomis Tuberosa

Description:

Upright plant with large textured, slightly fuzzy leaves; the flowers appear as pompoms around the flower-stalk, in a multi-tiered effect that's different from just about any other flower you'll encounter in the garden. After the flower stalks are cut back, the bold foliage makes an attractive mound to carry the plant through the season

Notes:

A spectacular species, with rich, ruby red stems flanked in whorls of lipped, candy-pink flowers, against serrated, deep green foliage, for the perfect contrast. An easy to grow, long flowering, small shrub for the border.
