Beautiful! While the name "scorpionfish" is technically correct, since it is a type of scorpionfish, the proper name for this fish is lionfish :) Based on where you found this guy, he's a Common Lionfish! They're incredible to see, aren't they?

Great pic! I noticed not many people posts much about fishes and coral critters. I am posting fishes too and I have requested a mission for fishes of the world. I did not get any answer, though. Perhaps you could ask them as well?
