Diamondback Terrapin

Malaclemys Malaclemys Terrapin

Description:

Noted for the "swirly" diamonds on their back.

Habitat:

Brackish waters/Brackish swamps

Notes:

This terrapin was spotted on a sandy beach near a dune. I'm assuming eggs were just laid.
