Mealy Bug Destroyer Nymph

Description:

White clump of fuzz that can crawl quickly. It eats Mealy bugs and Aphids and it is a GOOD GUY in the Garden. Do not destroy him.

Habitat:

Found often on Milkweek or other plants that are infected with it's favorite food. The last picture is one crawling up my arm, It accidentally caught a ride into our house. It was returned to it's normal enviroment.

Everyone interested in the Mealy Bug Destroyer Listen Up. We don't want to be confused. Mealy Bug Destroyers eat Mealy bugs and Aphids. They are good in your garden. Plain Mealy bugs are not good in your garden. We need to be careful of the distinction between them.

I am sorry, but I have only seen it in the Larva stage as Claire my Horticultue friend showed it to me for a picture. She goes by the name of CEHerzog and she has a couple of pictures too. I think she is likely able to tell you what an adult looks like. These little fuzz balls move very quickly.

Ah, I just heard that this is actually the larva of the Mealybug destroyer, nice. Did you see any adults?
