Quercusia quercus is not found on the Philippines.

It should be Melanitis sp. for the scientific name.

This is a butterfly from the family Nymphalidae and subfamily Satyrinae. Melanitis sp.. There are many similar species and even different seasonal forms from the same species around. Melanitis leda is the most coomon one and one of the 5 most abundant nymphalid butterfly on the world.
