Thank you for the compliments and for the identification. I was very lucky that it settled on a bush in our garden and stayed long enough for me to take some pics. It then flew to a neighbouring tree where I was able to take the under-view.
I agree, excellent shots! I know that Charaxes can be very stubborn and you did a great job here.
