Your spotting has been nominated for the Spotting of the Week. The winner will be chosen by the Project Noah Rangers based on a combination of factors including: uniqueness of the shot, status of the organism (for example, rare or endangered), quality of the information provided in the habitat and description sections. There is a subjective element, of course; the spotting with the highest number of Ranger votes is chosen. Congratulations on being nominated!
Very beautiful pic ! :)
Very interesting suggestion. I would try and follow Thanks
Lovely shot MahabaleshwaraB! Since you know the identity of this bird (and of others in your collection), please go ahead and fill in the scientific name field. In terms of the Project Noah database, adding the scientific name will make your spotting a complete record. It will also move your spotting off of the "Unidentified" spottings list. If you are interested in learning how species are named and why this is important for this site, see Project Noah's blog entry http://blog.projectnoah.org/post/2870249...
Thanks!
