I couldn´t believe that there were so many fish hawks, and herons. I missed the trees too - funny was, that each one of them was labeled...
Rats are in every town, mostly dogs catch them, rarely cats. And the dog usual don´t eat them... sorry for your cat though :(

What amazes me is that you would find anything at all in Hong Kong!!
It seems to be all concrete! My first reaction was ,where are the plants and animals? I can not live here!
I found some trees and birds around the "Big Buddha" which I liked very much. Other than that it is so devoid of any other forms of life.
While waiting at a bus stop, i saw a sign which warned me about Rat poison.
i stood there wondering ." What if a cat eats a mouse that ate the poison?"
Ironically ,five years later, My lovely cat died of secondary rodenticide poisoning!!:))
