They are tricky to photograph ,because they often hide underneath leaves .

Paul, thnks for help with all the other ID;s and this one too. Love the name "Electron Pixie" It was sheer visual delight !Could not get a picture though.

This is an Electron Pixie ----Melanis electron , probably Melanis electron melantho , the border colour can be yellow ,orange or sometimes red

Visually it was very pretty. It was resting with its wings open. I didn't get a chance to see it in flight. I did get to see the blue morphos in flight and it was truly mind blowing .Such huge spectacular butterflies!
