First picture are two nests on the ceiling fan on the porch of two mother birds, Mourning Dove and Robin. Second picture show pretty big babies in one of the nest
They like to nest in convienent areas whether the homeowner is really thrilled or not.
Pictures taken by Ken Martin in Bellefonte, PA I talked to my son and he confirmed that one of the nests was a Robin's while I had thought they were both Mourning Doves.

There is something really nice in this interaction between humans and animals. Shows that people don't need to get rid of them to be happy. I myself had a mockinbird nest in my garage for two years in a row, wich produced 6 new birds. I felt like a father... well, a grandfather...
wow
is there anybody live in this house?
wow!!
Interesting photos!
You are lucky one had such nice company...so close... :)
I guess your son is just going to have to turn his porch into an aviary. Fun series!
I am updating these photos, adding one more. Do you think he should be paid rent by these birds? The new editon is another Robin's nest this time over the porch light.
Wonderful spotting..!!
So cute!
thats awesome!
Haha fab! Although I agree with auntnance in that I don't think the one on the right is a dove. It looks like some kind of thrush or lark? The one on the left definitely a dove though! What a great photo :D
Obviously the ceiling fans in PA don't get much use.
Are you sure the bird on the right is a dove?
That's a riot!
