Interesting yellow-green eggs on a leaf laid in a geometrically perfect pattern
Garden. Cherry tree leaf
I should have noticed that under your Habitat section. In the US, the Eastern Tiger Swallowtail and the Red-spotted Purple lay eggs on Cherry trees, Prunus serotina. I don't know if you have those butterflies in the UK.
thanks for the suggestions. I'll label them as butterfly eggs.@ceherzog, they were found on the underside of a young cherry tree leaf.
Do you know what plant they are on?
Nice picture. Welcome to project noah!
That would be my best guess Emma.
Could these be butterfly eggs?
