Description:

This bamboo is about half inch diameter and gets 8 to 10 feet tall. The stalks are yellow/tan and the leaves are green.

Habitat:

It is growing in the sand, and into the brackish (part salt part fresh) water. It is very hardy in this environment. It survives daily tides and seasonal hurricanes that cause the water level to rise significantly.
