Willow herb

Description:

Small shrub-like habit. Less than 2.5 ft tall. Flowers are small and pink at the end of a long peduncle. Leaves are opposite and have toothy margins. Non-pubescent leaves and stems.

Habitat:

Reconstructed wetland-upland area

Notes:

There are a few out at the wetland bank but not many. Some are located in wetter transitional zones as well.
