Slaty skimmer dragonfly?

Description:

Possibly an immature male Libellula incesta ... I think it's a skimmer because of the wing pattern more clearly seen in first photo (anal loop shaped like sock and wing triangles dissimilar) and habitat. It was about the length of a chalk fronted corporal. It was clearly yellow on the sides of the abdomen

Habitat:

Open area in mixed woodland near shallow, still pond. We get lots of chalk fronted corporals and four-spotted skimmers here in case that helps with the habitat.
