Hermit crab

Description:

Hermit crabs are not true crabs as they have a soft body. Because of this they need use shells from molluscs to protect their bodies. As the crab grows it needs to find a larger shell to more in to. They suffer great consequences from people collecting shells from the sea and seashore, as this makes it harder for them to find new homes.
