Spotting

Description:

Greenish brown jumping spider. Takes out a thread each time it jumps, so that it doesn't fall flat on the ground! Length: 11 mm.

Notes:

I spotted this jumping spider this afternoon on the inner side of my steel gate. Took some shots as usual with my Samsung Galaxy S3. Unsatisfied, coaxed it onto my hankerchief and placed it on my dining table. It started jumping all over the place, finally it found a corner in my son's small table fan and hid inside there. It was then I waited patiently with my Canon 50D with Macro 100mm/2.8 on a tripod till it peeped out, and managed to take few shots.
