I have a photo - they are all over the place here in Michigan. Mine has bicolor eyes - yellow and black. they are kind of creepy but cool. As you said - they are great for fishing in fact I found more fishing links when I searched for this than mayfly

I just ID'd this Mayfly using a key but I'm not totally confident....I would appreciate the comment of any entomologist types!

I was trying to figure out a mayfly key and some of the species had 2 tails some 3. I'll look at stoneflies though.

I think these may be stoneflies because of the two tails. Mayflies have 3.
