Sciuridae family
Squirrels belong to a large family of small or medium-sized rodents called the Sciuridae. The family includes tree squirrels, ground squirrels, chipmunks, marmots (including woodchucks), flying squirrels, and prairie dogs. Squirrels are indigenous to the Americas, Eurasia, and Africa and have been introduced to Australia. Squirrels are first attested in the Eocene, about forty million years ago, and are most closely related to the mountain beaver and to the dormice among living species.

@AshishNimkar No, I try not to use flash since it makes the scene so harsh. You can see some reflection of the blue sky and the white spot is the sun itself I guess.
@AshishNimkar I don't have the whole animal, it was to close and I like to take close-ups.
But, your Wikipedia link takes my doubt away, this is the kind I mean with US variety. The ones I see in Europe are more like these: http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eekhoorns
Is that flash beam seen in Squirrel's eye..?

Gray is common colour in squirrels..If you show whole body its easy to tell.
@AshishNimkar I'm not sure the distinction is correct. To me the gray squirrel native to the U.S. while in Europe the reddish squirrel seems the native one.
What do you say?
Gray.. if its colour..!!
Nice..!!
Yes Squirrel's eyes are very spectacular alike tail.
