Description:

1-2" across flowers. Flowed borne single on stalk that can be 4-16" tall. Flowers July-August. Leaves long and narrow, faintly toothed.

Habitat:

Moist grassland and open prairie.

Notes:

Member of Asteraceae family. Very common.
