Night Blooming Cereus

Hylocereus undatus

this is our house plant but it makes Maine smell and feel like the jungle so it is much treasured. They have huge flowers that startle you suddenly, first with a subtle smell.... then with crazy tropical opulence. Much welcome, just wish they would bloom in the winter!

Beautiful! It looks so much like my "orchid cactus"... not sure of the proper name, but it also has huge red blooms, but not a night bloomer and no smell. I love them!
