Anguis fragilis
There are lots of them in my yard, I mostly spot them during lawn mowing. They are easy to catch, but seemingly have a lots of small holes in the grass in which they can escape. This one was very small but sometimes they are finger-thick.
This is a very interesting animal, in spite of it looks like a snake, it is a type of lizard without legs
