"Deer in the Mist" - Myakka River State Park in Sarasota Florida. My husband and I decided to take a night away from the kids and hustle & bustle of everyday life and stay in one of the parks palm log cabins for a night. We rose early to see what wildlife we might catch a glimpse of. Just before we returned to the cabin for some cocoa These two beautiful creatures emerged from the mist. What a magical moment! Ceherzog- I agree. It is quite a wonderful park. I feel so at peace when we go there; no rushing or time constraints.
My husband and I love taking photos there- always something new!
I'm in SC right now and missing my regular visits to Myakka Park..it's quite a place, especially if you venture beyond the close in trails.
