I agree, some weeds actually look very nice, just as long as they're not in your garden! (And in my case, not in my clients' gardens either! That's the agreement weeds and I have - they appear, they unfortunately have to die!) Sorry I couldn't help with the ID, though.
Thank you for the info. I'll update my description. Before living in this region, I wouldn't have ever thought this weed was pretty. The fact that it's green when everything else has turned brown around it, I have a new appreciation for it... as long as it's not in my yard!
We have this here, all I know about it is that it's a weed. The white fuzzy balls are dried flower heads - they're the seeds. I hope you get an ID on it, I'll be interested to see what it is! :)
